Govt will not be allowed to play with Zardari's health: PPP.

ISLAMABAD -- PPP leaders Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and Farhatullah Babar on Wednesday said if anything bad happens to Asif Ali Zardari's health, the present government would be responsible.

A day earlier, PML-N castigated the government over poor handling of its Quaid Nawaz Sharif in National Accountability Bureau's (NAB) custody.

Talking to reporters at PPP Media Centre, Nayyar Hussain Bukhari said Asif Ali Zardari had neither been convicted in any case, nor had charges been framed against him so far but the government treated him as hardened criminal.

He said in jail hospital, there was no facility to treat former president Asif Ali Zardari who was suffering from heart, diabetes and other ailments.

He said his health issue had not been taken seriously and his condition had been deteriorating for the last two weeks.

He warned that if the government did not give him proper treatment the PPP would hold Prime Minister Imran Khan responsible and use all options against him.

Replying to a question, he said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had been highlighting the matter in media for the last many weeks.
