Govt urged to open schools from June 1.

KARAK -- Tanzeem-i-Asataza Pakistan on Sunday demanded of the government to open educational institutions from June 1 and warned to move court if their demand was not accepted.

In a statement here on Sunday, provincial president of the teachers' body Khairullah Hawari said the educational institutions should be given permission to open from June 1 under a set of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to be followed strictly.

He said that keeping the schools closed under the pretext of Covid-19 was tantamount to enmity with education. He demanded that the examinations of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and HSSC should also be allowed and conducted from June 1.

Mr Hawari resolved to move court against the federal government's decision if it was not revisited.
