Govt to issue health insurance cards to FATA residents.

ISLAMABAD -- The federal government has announced health insurance cards to merge the districts of Federal Administrative Tribal Area (FATA) to the poor families under the prime minister's vision of National Health Programme.

An official from States and Frontier Regions Ministry told reporter that for this purpose, an amount of Rs1.1 billion had already been approved by the Federal Government. He said that HIC was a revolutionary scheme of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf-led government to facilitate poor people of the former FATA.
