'Govt providing all facilities to educational institutions'.

KARAK -- Adviser to Chief Minister on Higher Education Mian Khaliquz Zaman has said that government is trying to provide all facilities to educational institutions to improve the quality of education.

He was addressing a function at Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak here on Thursday. He said that the relationship between teachers and students would be improved.

The adviser said that facilities at college level would also be improved. He said that he was trying to reach to every district of the province to hear the problems of educational institutions. He added that there was no head of higher education for one-and-half years at provincial level but he would actively work to cover the gap.

Mr Zaman said that the entire system of higher education was set up for the benefits of students. He said that they would not waste time and would utilise the available resources to bring changes in the higher education system.

He said that he was observing the situation after taking over charge as adviser to chief minister on higher education. He said that he was committed to providing facilities to universities and colleges.
