Govt missed output targets of wheat, rice and cotton: Maulana Fazl.

PESHAWAR -- Ameer Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Maulana Fazalur Rehman has said that government has missed output targets of wheat, rice and cotton. He said that the economy of the country has been destroyed, adding that the economic situation of country has reached at the verge of destruction. He said that the religious seminaries are the source of promotion of Islam and the rulers who planned against the seminaries were failed in past and will also fail today.

While addressing Tahafuz e Madaris Conference in Peshawar on Sunday, Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that government has failed to achieve export targets despite devaluation of Pakistani rupee.

He further added that his party did not accept rigged elections and termed opposition of the current government as jihad. He added that current government has destroyed the economy by taking record breaking loans.
