Govt delegation meets Shahzain Bugti, seeks support for budget approval.

ISLAMABAD -- A government delegation again met Jamhori Watan Party (JWP) chief Shahzain Bugti to reconcile with him on Friday.

The government delegation comprised of Defence Minister Pervaiz Khattak, Minister for Planning Asad Umar, Minister for Energy Omar Ayub and National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri.

The delegation sought the support of Shahzain Bugti for the approval of the budget from the government.

Earlier, Shahzain Bugti had threatened to part ways with the government within two days if the government did not accept their demands. He had also demanded an executive order of Prime Minister Imran Khan for the acceptance of his demands.

On June 17, the Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) chief Akhtar Mengal had announced to end the alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
