Govt asked to complete Shangla uplift schemes.

SHANGLA -- The residents of Lilownai, Hayatabad and Police Line Colony have demanded of the government to complete the developmental projects left incomplete by the contractors.

They told journalists here the other day that several uplift schemes were left halfway by the contractors. They said that the project of installation of solar panels on Lilownai road was also left incomplete by the contractor.

Waheed Akhtar, a local, said that government had allocated funds for installation of solar panels two years ago but the contractor left the scheme incomplete.

He said that work on construction of water tank was started three years ago but the project was yet to be completed. 'The contractor brought two bags of cement, two wheelbarrows of sand and some bricks for constructing the water tank.
