Govt approaches SC against SHC order on sugar inquiry report.

ISLAMABAD -- The federal government has approached Supreme Court (SC) to challenge order of Sindh High Court (SHC) which prevents government from taking action against sugar mill owners in light of recommendations of sugar inquiry commission.

According to media reports the petition filed by the government argues that government cannot be stopped from taking action on sugar inquiry report. Centre seeks declaration of SHC order as null and void.
