Governor hands over key to allotees of low cost housing scheme.

HYDERABAD -- The Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has said that the Prime Minister Imran Khan fully determined to build five million low cost houses for homeless people right from Khyber to Karachi.

The organizations like Seelani Welfare Trust could play important role in fulfilling the commitments of the government of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Governor stated this while addressing a ceremony of handing over the keys of low cost flats of Seelani Welfare Trust here on Monday.

The scheme of low cost flats for homeless citizens of Hyderabad has been completed by Seelani Welfare Trust at Bismillah City and the Governor Sindh handed over keys of 92 flats to citizens and also laid foundation of two hundred more flats.

Among others, Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda, Members Provincial Assembly (MPA) Haleem Adil Shaikh, Nadeem Siddiqui and Arif Memon of Arif Builders also attended the ceremony.

The Governor said that there was no concept in any welfare state that the people pass their day and

nights on footpaths with hunger. The Prime Minister Imran Khan had made commitment with the countrymen to make Pakistan a true welfare state and announced construction of five million houses for poor and low income people of the country.

On the directives of the Prime Minister, the shelter houses were also being established in different parts of the country which would also start functioning also in Karachi soon, he said and added that the government would construct fifty thousand flats with the cooperation of Seelani Welfare...
