Government is disregarding parliament by issuing ordinances : Siraj.

Islamabad -- Jamaat-e-Islami's Ameer Senator Siraj-ul-Haq said that the government for relying on presidential ordinances for legislation, completely bypassing the parliament.

He said this while talking to the media outside the parliament on Tuesday, he said that the rulers have ignored the parliament and the country is rapidly drifting towards a civilian dictatorship.

He said the PTI government was walking in closed street and it caught in its own trap due to provocative statements by the PM himself and his team members. Reminding the prime minister his words about providing container and food to participants of the opposition sit-in, Siraj said Imran Khan should not make delay in fulfilling the promise he made during the first speech in the national assembly. He said the government lost its importance and seemed puzzled due to the protest. The rulers, he added, could not solve the ongoing political crisis by fortifying itself in the federal capital. He said the government seemed losing its grounds as people were showing desperation against its wrong and directionless policies in every nook and corner of the country.
