Government announces to reopen educational institutions from Jan 18.

ISLAMABAD -- Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood has said the decision to reopen educational institutions which were closed due to corona virus has been reviewed and now the educational insitutions from class 1 to 8 will be reopened from February 01 instead of January 23.

He said this while addressing a press conference here Friday after education minisers conference.

He informed that the educational institutions from class 9 to 12 will be reopened from January 18.

He held 'when we decided to close educational insitutions on November 26 the ratio of positive case had surged from 1.9 percent to 7.14 percent. No of chronic patients had increased from 570 to 1958 and daily casulaties had increased from 5 to 47. Daily cases had increased from 600 to 3000..
