Gastroenteritis breaks out in DI Khan.
DERA ISMAIL KHAN -- Several people suffering from gastroenteritis were hospitalised here the other day, prompting the health department to send a medical team to the affected Zafarabad Colony here.
Residents said gastroenteritis spread in the locality after people consumed sewage-mixed water from a supply line. They said several people were suffering from different stomach-related diseases.
Deputy commissioner Inayatullah Wasim took notice of the situation and directed the health department to take steps to control the disease.
