Gang involved in supplying fake injections busted.

TAXILA -- The drugs control wing has busted a gang involved in sale and supply of fake injections utilised in operation theaters and seized the medicines.

Drugs controller Malik Mohammad Arshad while talking to newsmen said the injections of the same batch number was recovered from three different medical stores located in the three different parts of the district.

The official further revealed that the injections of the same batch were also found to be dispatched to the government hospital in Kharian.

Responding to a question, he said the drug called 'restane' is used to anesthetize patients before surgery in operation theaters in hospitals which has already been declared fake by the Punjab Drug Testing Laboratory (PDTL).
