FTSE 100 rises as IAG, oil, mining stocks gain.

The FTSE 100 Index rises 0.4 percent, or 34 points to 7736 as gains for International Consolidated Airlines, oil and mining stocks offset losses for InterContinental Hotels. IAG ascends nearly 3 percent and other airlines also climb after the owner of British Airways and Iberia raised its 2023 guidance.
