KARACHI -- Mr. Qasim E. Noorani, Printer of Urdu Daily 'Jasarat', was arrested from his office at Haroon House yesterday [March5]. Mr Noorani is the keeper of the Pakistan Herald Press where 'Jasarat' is printed. Syed Zakir Ali, Publisher of 'Jasarat' was picked up earlier in the morning while its Editor, Mr Salahuddin, was arrested on Sunday [March 4] night. Police came to pick up Mr Noorani at 10 a.m. but produced no warrant of arrest. When pressed to show the warrant, the Police Officer said no warrant was necessary for arresting anyone under the Defence of Pakistan Rules. ...
