APROPOS the news report 'Spain reburies dictator Franco in discreet tomb' (Oct 25).
Generalissimo Franco ruled Spain with an iron fist from 1939 till his death in 1975. His body was laid to rest at the vast basilica in the valley of the Fallen in Madrid. Now 44 years after his death, his casket has been exhumed and reburied at a state cemetery alongside that of his wife.
