Four sisters killed by cousin for property.

SARGODHA -- Four sisters were killed allegedly by their cousin and his accomplices for land at village Narra Shumali, some 50km from here, in adjoining district of Khushab.

As per police report, Shazia, Bushra, Sultana and Nasreen had inherited a residential house and land in the village after the death of their parents. They had no brother.

Their cousin Muhammad Amir wanted to marry one of the sisters, Shazia, as he had a plan to capture the property but Shazia preferred to marry another relative.

Amir, in connivance with Tauqeer and two unidentified armed men, entered the house of the girls and opened fire on them. All the four sisters died on the spot.

Jauharabad Saddar police registered a case after Regional Police Officer Afzaal Kausar took notice of the gruesome incident and directed the police to ensure arrest of all the suspects.
