Four of family die in road accident.

TOBA TEK SINGH -- Four people of a family died when a bus ran over them on Kamalia Road near the Dabbanala Canal bridge on Sunday. Rescue 1122 said Dishad Gulzar, from Chak 322-JB, was on his way from Rajana to Toba Tek Singh on their motorcycle, along with his wife, Iqra Perveen, daughter Umaima, and son Rehan, when their motorcycle collided with another motorcycle. In the meantime, a bus following them ran over them. The couple and their son Rehan died while their daughter Umaima was referred by the DHQ hospital to the Faisalabad Allied Hospital, where she died hours later.

In another accident in Kamalia on Chichawatni Road, four people were injured. An oil tanker hit a motorcycle near Police Station Chowk, when its brakes failed.

The oil tanker ended up in an ice cream shop. The injured were identified as Waqas Rashid, Muhammad Umer, oil tanker driver Muhammad Wazir and Abdullah. They were first admitted to the Kamalia THQ Hospital to be referred to the DHQ hospital.

CAMPAIGN: The Faisalabad Waste Management Company began a 16-day cleaning campaign of 'Safai Nasif Iman Hai' programme on Sunday during which mechanical washing and mechanised sweeping will be done every day in the city.

SEMINAR: An international seminar on the physical fitness of athletes and coaches was organised by the Government College University, Faisalabad, on Sunday, in which Ali Raza Habibi from the International Handball Association informed the students about fitness and coaching.
