Four dead, three injured: Car crashes into workshop after running over two.

KASUR -- Four people, including two minors, were killed and at least three others injured seriously in a road accident on Deepalpur Road near Fatehpur village on Friday.

According to police, a speeding car en route to Kasur ran over two persons standing on a roadside. At a short distance, it smashed into a makeshift motorcycle workshop and hit five people there.

Three people, including Sajjad, Umer, Munir and Muzammil died on the spot while Mudassir, Zulfiqar, and Manzoor suffered serious injuries and were rushed to the DHQ Hospital.

According to some witnesses, the driver of the car abandoned his vehicle and escaped from the scene. Police shifted the bodies to the DHQ hospital for autopsy.

In a separate accident, three people died while one sustained injuries due to a head-on collision between two motorcycles near Nizampura village. Ghulam Nabi, Arshad and Allah Rakha died instantly, while Husnain sustained serious injuries.

The injured was rushed to Chunian THQ Hospital in a critical condition.
