Former PM undergoes hernia surgery.

ISLAMABAD -- Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi underwent another hernia surgery at Shifa International Hospital on Saturday.

Operation was successful, but patient may be retained at the hospital for some days.

The former premier was shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) on Nov 2 as he was suffering from hernia pain.

He was admitted to the cardiology ward and checked by senior doctors.
