Flour mill sealed, three smuggling bids foiled.

TAXILA -- One flour mill was sealed, official quota was suspended and three persons were held for smuggling flour as the food department launched a crackdown against flour mill owners and smugglers in the twin cities of Taxila and Wah Cantonment on Thursday.

Talking to journalists here on Thursday, Aabid Ijaz Khan, the assistant food controller said that acting on a tip off, a team of the food department and local administration led by Assistant Commissioner Fazail Mudassir raided at a flour mill in Taxila and found scores of flour packed in green bags, hoarded beneath empty bags that were being transported in a truck to smuggle out.
