Five injured in Swabi cylinder blast.

SWABI -- Four women and a child of a family were seriously injured in a gas cylinder blast in Bamkhel village, while four people died in other incidents here on Sunday.

According to police, the women were busy cooking food in the house of one Abdullah Tikadar when the LPG cylinder exploded.

As there is no hospital in the district for burn patients the injured were provided first aid in Bacha Khan Medical Complex and then shifted to burns hospital in Peshawar.

Local people said that the house had developed cracks as a result of the explosion.

Meanwhile, four people were killed in various incidents on Sunday. According to police and family members, Ayaz Khan, 18, of Pirtab village was adjusting a pedestal fan in his house when he was electrocuted. In an FIR registered in Yar Hussain police station, mother of one Tausif Khan, alleged that Miskeen Khan, a resident of Yar Hussain village, opened fire on her son and killed him on the spot.

She said the cause of the incident was a dispute on ownership of a house. In another incident, Misal Khan, a political activist of Sarkoibala area in Gadoon Amazai belt died in a road accident...
