Five held after man's burnt body packed in sack found.

SUKKUR -- Jacobabad police on Friday arrested five suspects to find a clue to the killers of a man whose burnt body packed in a sack was found in Dungar Mohalla of the city a day earlier.

Officials at the City police station said the victim was subjected to torture before being shot dead. They said the killers had packed the body in a sack and set it on fire to wipe out evidence.

The body remained unidentified for more than 24 hours before the family and relatives of a missing man, Mahesh Kumar, approached the police and were shown the body. His father, Ashok Kumar, a resident of Gharibabad Mohalla, recognised his son.
