First football match held under floodlights in Chitral.

CHITRAL -- In the first development of its type, a football match was held under floodlights between the Imran Khan Foundation School and Centennial Model High School at the Chitral Football Stadium in the mountainous city.

This occasion marked the first time when a match played in the city under floodlights, as no other football pitches in the region ever had such facilities.

The game - which was organised by Sehat as part of their #SehatCares CSR initiative and attended by over 500 sports enthusiasts - was won by Centennial School 2-0. Sehat officials distributed prizes and trophies to the winning team and runners-up.

Notable figures were present at the football match, including DFA Chitral President Zafar Ali Shah, DFA Chitral Patron-in-Chief Hussain Ahmed, and Centennial Model High School principal, who was the chief guest on the occasion.

The event marked yet another milestone DFA Chitral, who had already sent a team in Spain through the Atletico Madrid Academy in Pakistan, in addition to providing a multitude of talent for selection in the national football team.
