Firms warned against advertising illegal housing schemes.

RAWALPINDI -- The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Saturday issued notices to the owners of four marketing companies to stop advertising of illegal housing schemes.

'The advertising of illegal housing schemes which are not having any legal sanctity from RDA is illegal under 46 (1) of Punjab Development Authorities Private Housing Scheme Rules-2021 which is reproduced,' said a RDA spokesman.

He said unless a project gets NOC from the RDA it cannot be declared an approved or legal project.

But unfortunately, he said, the advertising companies' websites were misleading general public.
