Experts urge people to plant the trees for maintaining the healthy environment.

BADIN -- The people were facing different hurdles and troubles across the world because of the occurrence of different disasters including Covid19 and climate change etc. We have to adopt the precautionary measures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) shared by Government and World Health Organization (WHO). It is high need to deal the disaster's related issues along with world vision. These views were expressed by Dr. Ali Nawaz Bhoot, District Planning and Development Officer, and Focal Person, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) district Badin while addressing the participants of event titled with 'World Environment Day on Biodiversity' at Darbar Hall Badin celebrated by Health and Nutrition Development Society (HANDS) in collaboration with Oxfam Pakistan and DDMA Badin on Friday. The event was participated by large number of community members and representatives of the civil society of Badin district.

Dr. Ali Nawaz Bhoot added that the protection and upkeep of healthy environment in the country was the first priority of the Government as the people can entertain their healthy lives along with their families. He urged the people to foster the trees in their surroundings and even at least two trees, everyone. Mr. Abdul Ghafar Khoso, Deputy Director, Social Welfare Department (SWD) Badin said that nature creates all like birds, animals, human being and all others in entire the universe and it is our prior responsibility to protect them and provide them shelter adding that forest can play a pivotal role in protecting the mass friendly environment in the world, overall.
