Expats remittances up by 9pc: OPCP.

LAHORE -- Overseas Pakistanis Commission Punjab (OPCP) Vice Chairperson Chaudhry Waseem Akhtar disclosed on Monday that substantial increase of nine per cent in remittances had been witnessed which reflected the confidence of expatriates over economic policies of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Talking to a foreign delegation here in his office, he said that Pakistan was now recovering from the failed policies of past and moving towards the path of better and strong economy.

Waseem Akhtar said that PTI government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan was all committed to overcome huge economic challenges inherited by previous government.
