Exhibition on Quaid's contributions at museum.

LAHORE -- A weeklong pictorial exhibition on the contributions of Father of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in connection with the Quaid Day opened at the Contemporary Painting Gallery of the Lahore Museum on Tuesday.

The exhibition was organised by the museum and the Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications (DEMP), Lahore.

This rare pictorial show was inaugurated by Minister for Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Mumtaz Ahmad flanked by Lahore Museum Director Tariq Mehmood Javed, Punjab Council of Arts Executive Director Rizwan Sharif and Lahore Arts Council Executive Director Ather Ali Khan.

The exhibition features a wide range of rare black and white photographs of Quaid-i-Azam Muhamamd Ali Jinnah.

On the occasion, the minister was of the view that the nation should follow in the footsteps of Mr Jinnah, leave personal interests aside and focus on unity.

Talking to the media, Mr Javed said: 'We should not forget contributions of the father of the nation.'
