Karachi -- Emergency has been declared in 13 hospitals under Baldia Uzma Karachi due to heat wave in Karachi.
Holidays of staff and administration has been suspended.
This step has been taken after Met office issued heat wave alert till May 3 in Karachi.
During this heat wave, temperature of the city is expected to reach 40 to 42 degree centigrade.
Sea winds will remain stop to blow in the city.
