Eid gifts distributed among prisoners.

TAXILA -- The Punjab Public Accounts Committee (PPAC) Chairman Syed Yawar Boukhari distributed Eid gifts including suits, sweets and other necessary items among the prisoners of Attock jail on Saturday.

Deputy Commissioner Ali Anan Qammar, Assistant Commissioner Jannat Hussain Nekokara, District Jail Superintendent Sheikh Mohammad Ikram officials of prisons and social welfare department were also present on the occasion.

The PPAC chairman while talking on the occasion said that the purpose of distributing Eid gifts among the prisoners was to provide them opportunity to participate in the Eid celebrations.
