M ay was marked by significant events, including the 32 Arab League Summit in Jeddah, the G7 summit in Hiroshima, and the China-Central Asia Summit in Xian. At the 32nd Arab League summit in Jeddah, for the first time in over a decade, all 22 member states of the Arab League were represented, including Syria, which had been suspended from the organization since 2011. Diverse issues were discussed by the leaders, ranging from the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the war in Yemen, the situation in Libya, and the Syrian civil war, to strategies for enhancing economic cooperation and development throughout the Arab world. The summit attendees condemned Israel's actions against the Palestinian people. The statement called upon Lebanon to overcome its political paralysis and encouraged dialogue in Sudan, where rival generals have been in conflict since last month. These recent developments highlight Saudi Arabia's active role in regional affairs, showcasing its commitment to diplomacy, humanitarian aid, and the pursuit of peace and stability.

The participating leaders reached a consensus to deal with economic challenges and help the world to deal with them through various new initiatives. Moreover, they committed to reinforcing supply chains, emphasizing the involvement of lower-income countries in bolstering economic resilience. Emphasizing the principles of transparency, diversification, security, sustainability, trustworthiness, and...
