ECP suspends membership of 318 lawmakers.

ISLAMABAD -- The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday suspended membership of 318 lawmakers in both houses of parliament and provincial assemblies for not submitting annual statements of their assets by the last date.

According to details, the list includes Federal Minister for Law and Justice Barrister Dr. Farogh Naseem, Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Allama Noorul Haq Qadri, Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul, PTI MNA Aamir Liaquat, Sadaqat Abbasi, Aamir Mahmood Kiyani, Sanaullah Mastihhel, Farrukh Habib, Raja Riaz Ahmed, Minister for Housing and Works Chuadhry Tariq Bashir Cheema, Alamgir Khan, Abdul Qadir Patel, Chaudhry Muhammad Burgess Tahir, former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Senator Pir Sabir Shah, Muhammad Ayub, Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo, Taj Afridi and others.
