ECP suspends 52 members for delaying assets' details.
LAHORE -- The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has suspended 52 members including a sitting and a former provincial minister of the Punjab Assembly for not submitting details of their assets.
Among them are 16 women members elected on reserved seats. They are Saadia Suhail Rana, Abida Bibi, Bisma Chaudhry, Sajida Begum, Aneeza Fatima, Rabia Ahmed Butt, Haseena Begum, Shamim Aftab and Tahira Noor.
The suspended members include sitting food minister Samiullah Chaudhry and former food minister Bilal Yasin. Other suspended MPAs, both from treasury and opposition, are: Mian Marghoob, Suhail Shaukat Butt, Ramazan Siddiq, Muhammad Naeem, Hamid Yar Hiraj, Malik Nadeem Abbas and Nazeer...
