Drug screening of students on the cards.

ISLAMABAD -- Minister for Narcotics Control and SAFRON Shehryar Khan Afridi has said that the government was consulting with private and public sector educational institutions to ensure drug screening of students, faculty members and staff and drug tests would be conducted for them.

Addressing a meeting of owners of private and elite schools, Shehryar Afridi said that the government was working for making drug free Pakistan under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

'Educators are chosen for educating new generations. After mother's laps, schools are the institutions to educate, groom and train the children to transform into productive citizens,' he said. Afridi said that schools owners need to employ best practices of drugs control in educational institutions.
