SUKKUR -- Dr Asim Hussain, a senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and a close aide to its co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, visited former leader of the opposition in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) here on Saturday.

Political circles here attached great importance to his unscheduled meeting with Mr Shah, who has been in police custody and under treatment of cardiac disease at the hospital.
