ISLAMABAD -- Deputy Speaker National Assembly (NA) Qasim Khan Suri has resigned from his office .

The resignation has been received by the National Assembly's Secretary office.

A no confidence motion which was submitted in National Assembly against Qasim Khan Suir figured on Saturday agenda of National Assembly.

The no-confidence resolution against National Assembly Deputy Speaker was submitted on April 8 by Murtaza Javed Abbasi of the PML-N.
