Death anniversary of Swat journalist observed.

Swat -- Tributes were paid to senior journalist Siraj-ud Din (Shaheed), The Nation staffer, on the occasion of his 13th death anniversary which was observed here on Sunday.

Siraj-ud-Din, who worked as a Swat correspondent for The Nation and Nawa-i-Waqt Group, was killed in a suicide bomb attack in Mingora on 29 Feb 2008. He started his journalism career in 1983 with Daily Wahdat. He used to write for several national dailies including Daily Pakistan, The Muslim, The Frontier Post besides representing PTV in 1994.
