Deadline to register phones extended till Jan 15.
The registration of the cellular devices with Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) for the mobile users was extended to January 15 on Saturday. Illegal, smuggled and unregistered devices will not work after January 15, according to the notification issued by the PTA.
For registration of your cellular device, send your IMEI number, which can be checked by dialing #06#, via SMS to 8484. Upon sending this to PTA, it will send a reply confirming whether your phone is compliant...
