Dasti absolved of illegal weapon possession.

MUZAFFARGARH -- A court has absolved former MNA Jamshed Ahmad Dasti in a case of possessing illegal weapon and asked police to return the weapon to him.

Police had registered a case against Dasti in 2017 when he was an MNA from PML-N and arrested him.

He was coming back from Islamabad when police stopped him at Sarwar Shaheed Chowk and found a rifle in his possession.

He was later set on bail by a court.
