Dancer 'raped, tortured' by her trainer.

SAHIWAL -- A local singer and dancer was allegedly subjected to physical torture and rape by her trainer at her house here a couple of days back.

According to the City Police Station in charge, Irfan Ali, in her complaint, the dancer (name withheld as per the newspaper's policy), a resident of Dispensary Road area, said her dance trainer 'T' wanted to develop relations with her and harass her on phone.

She said that when she informed her father about his advances, he stopped the trainer from visiting their house.

She said that on Feb 26 night, she was alone at her house when the suspect armed with a pistol barged in.
