D.altansukh Seizes A Gold Medal At European Open

Mongolian judoka D.Altansukh secured Mongolia's first gold medal of the Year of the Monkey on the opening day of the European Open, which took place in Oberwart, Austria, from February 13 to 14.

The young Mongolian judoka of Khangarid Sports Committee in Uvs Province cleared the first round of the 66 kg category with high scores. In the following round, he defeated a British judoka in just 2:22 minutes with a clean throw, and won with a penalty against Kazakhstan's Sergey Lim, the winner of the IJF World Masters 2013.
