Cyclonic Storm Maha 910 KM away from Karachi.

KARACHI -- A second cyclonic storm 'Maha' is brewing in the Arabian Sea, is currently 915 kilometers away from Karachi, said Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD). The Severe Cyclonic Storm Maha over the eastcentral Arabian Sea has moved north-northwestwards and was located at Latitude 15.4 North and Longitude 71.5 East with maximum sustained surface winds of 90-110 kmph, Pakistan M e t eorological Department said. 'Maha' is likely to track further northwestwards and intensify into a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm (VSCS) during next 24 hours, the met office said. Currently there is no threat to Pakistan coastal area. Moreover, Cyclone Kyarr after losing its cyclonic force has dissipated in the Arabian Sea.
