Customs Officers Implicated in 'Speed Money' Case Placed on FIA's Stop List.

KARACHI -- Customs officers involved in the 'speed money' scandal have been placed on the stop list of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to prevent them from fleeing abroad, as reported by the media on Sunday.

Significant progress has been made in taking action against the allegedly corrupt customs officers wanted by the FIA. The accused officers, including Customs Collectors Saqif Saeed, Usman Bajwa, and Amir Them, have been placed on the FIA's stop list, while Customs Officers Yawar Abbas and Tariq Mehmood have already been arrested on corruption charges.

Furthermore, the name of chalia smuggler Imran Noorani has also been included on the stop list by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Sources revealed that the anti-corruption circle forwarded the list of wanted customs officers to FIA immigration. It was discovered that Customs Collector Saqif Saeed intended to flee abroad and had taken a one-year leave for travel to a foreign country.
