LAHORE -- Chief Secretary retired Major Azam Suleman Khan has directed all administrative secretaries to remove all corrupt and incompetent officials in the light of internal accountability mechanism to improve governance in Punjab.

Presiding over a meeting of all administrative secretaries at the Civil Secretariat on Tuesday, the chief secretary directed the officers to start paperless working in their offices to ensure transparency and save money and time, saying that services of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) should be hired to get benefit from the technology, says a handout.
