CPO orders inquiry against SHO allegedly involved in forcing women for running counterfeit currency business.

Rawalpindi -- The city police chief on Thursday ordered a departmental inquiry against station house officer police station Sadiqabad who is facing allegations of forcing two women for running business of counterfeit currency and tempered/stolen cars to earn money.

Similarly, the city police chief also directed station house office police station Airport to take legal action against an active land grabber belonging to Taji Khokhar group for his involvement in a monetary fraud case.

According to details, City Police Officer (CPO) Muhammad Ahsan Younas was holding open court to listen public complaints against police when a female complainant namely Sajida Sajid lodged a complaint stating she got registered a case against a bank manager with Police Station Sadiqabad one year ago. She added the dispute with bank manager was resolved later but an ASI Zaheer of PS Sadiqabad kept calling her in police station for recording her statement regarding the case. 'I along with my cousin visited office of SHO SI Tahir Rehan where SHO and another unknown man were present.

The SHO forced us for running the business of counterfeit currency and tempered/stolen cars,' she alleged. She also claimed SHO tasked a cop namely Asad Bhatti for chasing them (two women) later.
