Covid deaths, new cases continue surfacing in districts.

MULTAN -- Seven people died from coronavirus complications in Nishtar Hospital on Monday and Tuesday.

According to official data, 105 people have lost their lives in the hospital because of Covid-19 issues. There are 80 patients under treatment in six isolation wards of the hospital, of which nine are on ventilators.

As many as 39 coronavirus suspected patients are also being treated at the hospital.

Young Nurses Association General Secretary Samia Yameen says that 15 nurses, of which seven are females, have been infected from the virus in the last three days.

BAHAWALPUR: Five police officials of the Channigoth police tested positive for coronavirus tests.

According to police sources, they include two assistant sub-inspectors and two moharars, who were shifted to the hospital for treatment.

SARGODHA: Commissioner Dr Farah Masood says on average 30 coronavirus cases are being reported on a daily basis in the division and at present there are 408 coronavirus cases are under treatment in Sargodha division.

TOBA TEK SINGH: The widow of DHQ hospital's retired medical officer Dr Syed Javed Zaidi also died on Tuesday from Covid-19 issues two days after her husband's death who was also a Covid-19 case.
