COVID-19 patients' jumps to 56.

ATTOCK -- The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has increased to 56 on Saturday with a new case has been reported in the district.

According to data updated by the district administration here , 62 years old man - a resident of village Ikhlas of tehsil Pindigheab tested positive taking the number of people infected with the virus to 56.

The district administration has established a control room at the office of Deputy Commissioner while COVID-19 Rapid Response Teams were working actively round the clock throughout the district and were equipped with PPE.

The district focal person for COVID-19, Dr Asif Arbab Niazi confirmed registration of one new case in the district. He said that the man was working in a factory in Peshawar and he got infected with the virus during his stay there. Soon after it was detected that the virus COVID-19 positive case, the officials of health department and municipal committee Pindigheab take necessary preventive measures.
