Covid-19 cases continue to surface in Pindi.

RAWALPINDI -- As many as 24 people were diagnosed with Covid-19 on Tuesday in the district while 24 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery.

In Rawalpindi district, there are 316 active patients. Around 73 are in hospitals and 28 were brought from other districts while 243 patients are isolated in their homes. Around 452 patients are waiting for the results of their coronavirus serology.

Out of those admitted in hospitals, 13 patients belong to Rawalpindi city and cantonment areas including one patient from cantonment, seven from Potohar Town, five from Rawal Town, three patients each from Gujar Khan and Kallar Syedan and one patient each from Kotli Sattian and Taxila. One patient each arrived from Islamabad, Chakwal and Mansehra.

As many as eight patients are admitted in Holy Family Hospital, 11 in Benazir Bhutto Hospital, 32 in Rawalpindi Institute of Urology, 14 in Fauji Foundation Hospital and three each in Hearts International Hospital and Red Crescent Corona Care Hospital.
