Court seeks record of all past owners of land bought for Bahria Town Karachi-2.

HYDERABAD -- The Hyde-rabad circuit bench of the Sindh High Court on Thursday directed Senior Member of Board of Revenue (BoR) and private respondent M/S Paradise Real Estate Pvt Limited to submit to the court on April 26 mother entries of the subject land in Jamshoro district where Bahria Town Karachi-2 was being developed.

The division bench comprising Justices Nadeem Akhtar and Khadim Hussain issue dteh directive on a petition filed by one Salahuddin who requested the court to restrain respondents from any sale and or purchase in BTK-2 and its extension.

The bench said Senior Member BoR was earlier directed to submit the mother entries -- entire chain of the owners of land, from the first to the last title deed holder - and asked Sindh's Additional Advocate General (AAG) Allah Bachayo Soomro why the orders were not being complied with.

The AAG said that he had personally submitted some documents in this regard while

Farooq H. Naek submitted copy of power of attorney executed by the respondent M/S Paradise Real Estate in favour of his client Bahria Town Karachi and insisted M/S Paradise was actual owner of the land.

Justice Akhtar asked the AAG to respond to why the entries as directed by the court on previous hearing were not submitted and the AAG failed to come up with an answer.
