Court reporters asked to focus on litigants' miseries.

ISLAMABAD -- Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court (IHC) Justice Athar Minallah on Saturday urged the court reporters to highlight the miseries of litigants in media since the litigants are the real stakeholders in the criminal justice system.

IHC Chief Justice Minallah greeted the newly elected office-bearers of the Islamabad High Court Journalists Association (IHCJA).

He said the litigants were the real stakeholders in the justice system, however, in the society, they had been marginalised and the other beneficiaries of the system have emerged as the stakeholders.
